My Summer Vacation
At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended.
However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea.
When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There's no place like home!
My Summer Vacation
Last summer I spent a two-week vacation at my aunt's place. My aunt lived alone in a mountain village, with a small river winding its course everyday.
One morning I went fishing in the river, where two women washed clothes. I fimnd a most favorable point. Casting out my line I waited anxiously for a bite. Suddenly there came a cry: "Help! Help!" I looked in the direction of the call and saw a boy falling into the river. Throwing the fishing pole, I dashed over like an arrow, jumped into the river and swam very quickly towards the boy. Then together with his mother I carried the boy on my back to a nearby hospital. That boy was saved. The mother gave me a thousand thanks.
Back to my fishing place, I fimnd my fishing pole floating on the water. I managed to get it. But to my great surprise, there was a big fish on the hook.
My Summer Holiday
I went to BeiDaiHe with my family last summer vocation.We stayed there for 5 days.Swimming,eating,shopping is our main activities.And we had a wonderful time!

I like the summer holidy so much. I look forward to summer holiday every year. Last summer, I went to Shen zhen for my holiday, which is also a city of seashore like Haikou. I enjoyed having a walk along the beach after supper or having a swim in the afternoon. The sky is blue, the air is fersh. Wherever you go, You can always see the green trees, the neat grasses and the colourful flowers. They were really wonderful. Shen Zhen has a lot of tall buildings. And it is a modern city.
I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.
If you ask me what my favourite summer holiday will be like, traveling aound the only answer. I hope that one day I could meet different people and vist different places of interest.

My Summer Holiday
Time always flies fast. Summer holiday was the longest holiday of the year. I have two months to play or study. But I still think it is too short. I want to have more days to rest because I had a good time in the holiday.
Before the holiday, I studied for the tests. So I had to study very hard. I was busy and tired to do it. But in the first week of the holiday, I didn't have anything to do. So I could do anything I wanted to do. For example, I could watch TV, play computer or read books and more every time. It was very relaxing. Then, I had a great vacation in Beijing. I visited the Great wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum and other places. There were so many people there on vacation. I had great fun there. I think Beijing is a really very beautiful city and it is a good place to learn Chinese history. After it, I stayed at home. It was relaxing but kind of boring. But I could do homework and read books hard. It was as relaxing as watching TV. Sometimes, my friends also came to my home to ask me to go out with them. We did some sports together. Wasn't it exciting? I wasn't good at sports, but I'd like to have a try because of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. I was excited to watch it. And I had to go to learn math every Tuesday and Saturday, too. The math exercises were a little bit difficult. And it usually made me not watch TV for a long time. But I still liked it because I was happy when I finished it. During the holiday, the weather was hotter than spring. I could eat ice cream and lots of fruits. They were delicious. What a happy holiday I had!
Tomorrow, school will start. I decide to study hard and I hope I can get good grades. I hope I would have a great holiday again, too.
